Ancient Greek for Kids – Level D

Ancient Greek for Kids - Level D

In the fourth level, children explore Ancient Greek by engaging with historical texts tailored to their age. Additionally, they immerse themselves in the customs, traditions, and folklore elements of the culture, establishing a meaningful connection between the language from ancient times to the present day. As they approach the  completion of primary school, they gain a profound awareness of the continuity and timelessness of the language.

This level of Ancient Greek instruction lays the essential foundations for a child’s entire academic journey. Our students continue to enjoy the pleasant and straightforward learning approach, expanding their proficiency in Ancient Greek while concurrently exploring the rich tapestry of  Greek History, Mythology, and Culture.

Commencing with simple everyday dialogues, stories, and myths, our method guides children in a simple, beautiful, and methodical manner. This ensures that they are well-prepared to read original ancient texts directly from the source in a remarkably short time. This extracurricular  activity, requiring just an hour and a half per week, remains a valuable investment, providing an enriching experience that transcends linguistic skills, offering a profound understanding of the cultural heritage that has shaped the western world.
